TSB tip #2: Get to know your thrift shops!
J&ANS BY DOLCE &GABBANA. Av
prices: $50-$250. Paid $7. Worn, hi-waisted, 3/4s. Turned into shorts.
Thicker jean allows for winter use, just pair with leggings/stockings.
Only $10!
Just
because you're a penniless student doesn't mean you can't own nice
things. Be smart with your purchases by researching/shopping around, and
being patient. These black leather wedges were reduced to $10 from
around $100 at Aldo. Prices drop for final pairs and last season stock.
Organic Scrubber
Already
stressing over assessment items and study loads? Take timeout and go
for a walk along the beach. Don't feel obliged to invite anyone
(Valentine's Day has passed). Stroll through the water, and if you're
lucky enough to come across one of these, make sure you snatch it before
some company puts a price tag on it. Corals and volcanic rocks are
great exfoliants. Just use them on your feet, not your face.
Incense Sticks!
They cost around $1 for a pack of 20. The smell is stronger +
lasts longer than that of air fresheners, and they're cheaper too! Let a
stick smoke until the room freshens up, then put it out.
Grow your own!
Cheaper
in the long run, and definitely with less pesticides. Grab some fruits,
veggies or herbs from your local Bunnings/supermarket/plant shop.
Quick, No-bake Cake.
