Being a student isn't easy. Whether you're in high school, college, or university, a teen, a single mother, or a senior citizen, an employee or jobless, obtaining an education is a full-time commitment (or close to it). Sometimes spending time and effort researching for shortcuts and inexpensive substitutes for everyday items just isn't an option. If only we had money to buy time to earn a living, right?
The Student Budget is working towards building a community where people on a student budget around the world can find quick, cheap alternatives (and hopefully environmentally friendly). Additionally, in order to build a bigger database of information, we hope that YOU will also join in sharing advice on cheaper and more timely alternatives to life's necessities (...and luxuries).
TSB isn't just targeting students - its aim is to aid anyone that either chooses or is forced to count beans. You might be wealthy with a taste for bargains, or you might be living off a portion of the "average" wage and want to look/feel above average.
future goals
TSB would like to expand and create an affordable online store. And I really mean affordable. We'll start off with clothing and accessories (males and females), and hope to evolve into an all-rounded store - with quality, low-priced software and technology. In the near future, through partnerships and/or sponsorship, TSB would like to provide small grants to students who really are in need.
