HOW TO: MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW FASTER

Humans are such strange creatures. We're trying to both find easier ways to remove it and increase it. Promoting hair growth is cheaper and simpler than you might expect. "Vitamins" and other bottled promises of hair growth can create adverse reactions. It's always a little bit of a gamble when experimenting with those types of products. There are many sites (countless, really) that provide tips on promoting hair growth, but who has time and patience to sit and read through pages and pages of information? I've found the most talked about natural alternatives to promote hair growth. They're simple, easy, and will 100% give you results.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

  • Drink more water
  • Regular, sufficient sleep
  • Frequent, small trims
  • Apply less styling products and heat
  • Increase protein consumption

WHAT YOU CAN USE

Egg whites: Contain keratin protein which promotes hair growth and strength, and restores shine and softness. Depending on thickness and length of hair, mix egg white and olive oil and apply all over. Rinse after 20 minutes, and wash with conditioner. Repeat once a week/fortnight.

Coconut oil: Contains lauric acid, and is rich in vitamin E, K, and iron. It seals in moisture, increases blood circulation, and can also eliminate dandruff and lice. Warm coconut oil (if it is in it's solid form), and deeply massage into your scalp for 15 minutes. Apply a small amount regularly to ends of hair.

Apple cider vinegar: Has properties that stimulate the hair follicles, and thoroughly cleans the hair from grime and residue. It also improves shine and is a natural detangler. Mix with water and use in the shower instead of a shampoo once a week. Worried about the smell? It generally fades away after a while, but you can drop a little essential oil into your mix.
